We never know what’s going to walk in through our front door. And sometimes we’re blown away by the cool items we come across. It’s one of the things that we enjoy the most from running a pawnshop.

Pawn Shop Finds
Here are some of our recent finds:
Antique 18K Dangle 2.3ct Diamond & Garnet Earrings
Dazzling ladies earrings set in solid 18k yellow gold. These beautifully crafted earrings from the 1930s are encrusted with seed pearls. Each earring has one round and one oval diamond with an eye-catching pear-shaped red garnet.
The oval diamonds are estimated at 0.90ct each and the round diamonds at 0.25ct each. The diamonds are estimated to be SI1 Clarity and I Color. The red garnets are estimated at 1.3ct each.
The earrings weigh 15 grams and are 1.5” long and 1” wide.
Note that the earrings are fitted with soft clip-on backs which are not strong and secure. They need to be replaced.
These well designed earrings will attract attention every time you wear them and will make an exciting addition to your fine jewelry collection. They are priced at $5,500 and are available in our Beverly Hills pawn shop.
David Yurman Ladies Wristwatch
Beautiful David Yurman ladies wristwatch, model T717-S. It has a stainless steel case and bracelet with diamond bezel and mother of pearl face.
David Yurman is seen by many as the country’s foremost luxury jewelry and watch brand. Founded in New York by David and his wife Sybil, it’s built on a passion for art and design.
This stunning watch is reasonably priced at $1,799 and is available in Maxferd’s Lawndale pawn shop in Los Angeles.
Vintage Ming’s Jewelry Hawaii Natural Jade 14K Gold Bracelet
Beautifully crafted Ming’s jade and 14k yellow gold bracelet. This amazing and rare bracelet is set with very pale, almost white natural jade beads.
Ming’s was established in Hawaii in the 1940’s by Wook Moon. His jewelry soon became very popular in Hawaii as it featured beautiful Hawaiian and Asian cultural themes. His retail stores eventually expanded to San Francisco and New York as well.
The bracelet is 7” long and 5/8th” wide and weighs 38.3 grams. The jade beads measure approximately 5 mm each.
This lovely vintage bracelet is priced at $1,999 and is available in our San Francisco pawnshop.
1800’s Theodore B. Starr Sterling Silver Fish Serving Plate, No Monogram
Theodore B. Starr sterling silver fish serving plate from the 1800’s. This rare piece is in good condition with only minor scuffs, scratches, and dents from normal use.
Theodore B. Starr was one of the most prominent and sought after jewelry and silversmithing firms in New York City. He started off in partnership with Herman Marcus under the name of Starr & Marcus but established his own firm in 1877.
This solid serving plate has no monogram. It weighs 3.42 lbs and measures 22 x 10 x 1. It’s priced at only $1,400 and is available in our Van Nuys pawn shop in Los Angeles.
14K Yellow Gold Four Leaf Clover Pendant with Necklace
Expertly crafted vintage yellow gold four leaf clover with diamond center pendant and necklace.
The pendant is 14k and contains a single round 0.10ct diamond in the center. It’s approximately 25 mm wide, 27 mm high, 3.3 mm thick, and weighs 7.3g. The necklace is approximately 21.50” long and weighs 2.5g. This item does have some signs of cosmetic wear.
This lovely piece of jewelry is priced at only $725 and is available in our Woodland Hills pawn shop in Los Angeles.
